Hoku means “star” or “full moon night” in Hawaiian – and our sweet Hoku truly lives up to his name. He is a little ray of sunshine who wants to make his humans’ lives brighter.

Hoku was abandoned all alone on the streets of Athens. When an animal rescuer heard him crying and approached him, he immediately ran towards her and climbed straight into her lap – as if he knew that he was finally safe.

Hoku is an incredibly loving, affectionate and cuddly little boy. He loves being close to his humans, enjoys sleeping on them, and will even climb onto their shoulders just to be as close to them as possible.

At the same time, he is curious and playful. He loves exploring his surroundings and can happily spend hours playing with his toys.

Hoku also gets along wonderfully with other cats. For this reason, we are looking for a home with a sociable, non-dominant cat with whom he can play and cuddle.

Hoku is vaccinated, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, dewormed and has an EU pet passport. We will only place him in a cat-proof home. He has not yet been neutered; the new owner will be required to have him neutered at the appropriate age.

After such a difficult start in life, Hoku deserves to finally find a home of his very own – with people who will love him just as much as he deserves.
