Greek Cat Rescue – Because Every Life Matters
Countless cats live on the streets of Athens – many of them in difficult conditions. Some were found injured, others sick or abandoned. Some have special needs and would have little chance without help.
We rescue these cats, make sure they receive the medical care they need, care for them in loving foster homes, and look for the right forever home for them in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and other European countries.
Every one of our cats has their own story, their own personality and their very own needs.
Whether a cuddly lap cat, a playful bundle of energy, a shy soul or a cat with special needs – we want to find the people with whom each cat can truly feel at home.

Adopting a cat means giving a living being a loving home for many years to come.
That is why it is so important to us that the cat and their future family are truly the right match for each other. We personally support you throughout the entire adoption process – from your first enquiry to your cat's arrival and beyond.
Our Cats Live as Indoor Cats
All of our cats are exclusively placed in responsible indoor homes.
A balcony can be wonderful for cats – provided it is fully and securely enclosed with a cat net. Safety always comes first for us.
We are happy to advise you on how to make your home safe and cat-friendly.
More Than Adoption
Our work does not begin when a cat is looking for a home.
We help stray cats in Greece, care for injured and sick animals, and are committed to spaying and neutering. Over the past few years, we have helped more than 4,000 stray cats receive this important care.
Many of the cats in our care would have no chance of a safe and protected life without our help.
