Freya was found by the roadside – heavily pregnant and with a badly destroyed little mouth. No one knew if she would survive. But Freya fought. She made it through two operations at the same time and was then able to move into a foster home.

Grace was also found on the street – in a rough area, together with her two half-blind babies. Despite everything, she stayed with them, protected them, and gave them all the love she had.

When Grace arrived at the foster home, she met Freya – and from that moment on, they were inseparable. They sleep together and give each other security and comfort.

Freya is still afraid of people and does not like to be touched. But with Grace, she feels safe.
