Sometimes life begins with fear – and hopefully ends with love.

A year ago, in a small village in Greece, a brave cat mom and her two tiny babies were rescued. The kittens were just six weeks old. Their mother did everything she could to protect them, even though she was completely exhausted herself and kept being attacked and badly injured by a feral tomcat. Every day counted for this little family.

Fortunately, they were found in time and brought to Athens, where they were finally able to grow up in safety.

Today, Messi (red-and-white male cat) and Gigi (red female cat) are about a year old and have grown into wonderful cats. They are curious, playful, cuddly and full of joy for life. Above all, they share a very special bond. They play together, fall asleep snuggled up close to each other and give each other support. They do not know life without each other – which is why we wish that they can also spend their future together.

After everything they have been through, they deserve a home where they are safe forever. People who love them, have patience and show them that they will never again have to fight for their happiness.
