Lagertha did not have an easy start in life. She was found on a busy road and brought to safety just in time. In the meantime, she has been spayed and is now ready to find a home of her own. 

Lagertha is a confident cat who knows exactly what she wants. She observes her surroundings closely, makes her own decisions and is not easily impressed. Anyone who loves cats with character will truly enjoy her.

With people, she is still rather reserved at the moment. After her life on the streets, she first has to learn that she no longer needs to be suspicious of anyone. That is why Lagertha is looking for a quiet home with people who do not demand anything from her and give her the time she needs. Trust cannot be forced – but with patience, something very special can grow from it.

Lagertha prefers to spend her time on the balcony, on a scratching post or in a high hammock. From there, she can keep an eye on everything. She is curious and interested in everything that happens around her – especially when food is involved somewhere.

Since Lagertha is a rather dominant cat, a home as an only cat would be ideal for her. This way she can enjoy her home all to herself and does not have to share her resources with anyone.

For Lagertha, a home is sought with people who appreciate independent cats and do not expect her to immediately curl up on a lap. She does not need a home that wants to change her – but one that accepts her just the way she is.

Anyone who gives her this chance may not gain the most affectionate cat in the world, but an impressive little personality who follows her own path.
