Patrick did not have an easy start in life. As a small, starving kitten with a severe eye infection, he suddenly appeared one day in a busy square – surrounded by people, yet completely alone. As if he knew this was his only chance, he climbed onto the lap of an animal rescuer and silently asked for help. This one brave gesture saved his life. He was taken to the vet immediately and was then allowed to move into a safe home.

Today, Patrick is a very special cat. He is incredibly loving, cuddly, and always seeks to be close to his humans. He loves climbing onto laps, snuggling up, and sleeping together – as if he wants to soak up every minute of security he missed so much as a baby. Despite everything he has been through, Patrick is cheerful, playful, and full of joy for life. He gets along wonderfully with other cats.

Patrick cannot see the world with his eyes – but he sees with his heart. And this heart is big, warm, and full of love. More than anything, he longs for a home where he is loved just the way he is. Perhaps it is a very special home where Patrick will finally be able to arrive and stay forever.
