Makis is one of the most unforgettable rescue cats ever encountered. He was found between cars in a parking lot – frightened, clever, and lightning fast. When the animal rescuers returned hours later, he had already hidden himself between boxes and all kinds of junk. His rescue turned into a two-day mission.

In the end, patience and care brought him to safety. And that was exactly where his wonderful transformation began.

At first, Makis was cautious and insecure. But after just a few days in his foster home, he started to purr. Today he is a sweet, shy boy who has learned that people can be trustworthy – especially his foster dad.

Above all, Makis is a “cat’s cat” and feels most comfortable in the company of other cats. Still, he also forms deep bonds with the people he trusts.
